RICE & BEEF PORCUPINES 
1 lb. ground beef
3 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 c. raw rice, well washed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 cans tomato sauce
1 c. water

Mix ingredients together. Form mixture into 10 or 12 small balls. Brown them lightly in an uncovered saucepan in 3 tablespoons fat. Drain off excess fat and add tomato sauce and water. Cover tightly. Simmer 45 to 50 minutes or until rice is tender.
