CHEESE RIBBON MEAT LOAF | |
1/4 lb. cheddar cheese 3 slices soft bread, torn into tiny pieces 1 c. milk 1 egg white 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 1/4 tsp. salt, pepper to taste 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Onion (optional) Combine beef, egg yolk, salt, pepper, milk, sauce and onion. Place 1/2 mixture in greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Combine egg white (slightly beaten), 1 tablespoon water and lightly toss with torn bread and cheese. Place on meat and cover with remaining meat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
