OVERNIGHT LETTUCE SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 onion, sliced thin
1 pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tbsp. sugar
4 oz. pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon fried and crumbled

9 x 13 inch pan or casserole. Tear up lettuce, add in layers (1) lettuce, (2) celery, (3) green pepper, (4) onion, (5) frozen peas. On top spread with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with sugar, cheese and bacon over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
