PEAS, CHEESE AND LETTUCE 
1 head lettuce
10 oz. frozen peas, cooked
Part of a purple onion, thinly sliced
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
6 tbsp. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tsp. sugar
8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
6 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled

Set aside 4 slices prepared bacon. Break half of lettuce into pieces and layer in 8x12 glass dish. Arrange in two layers using 1/2 of all other ingredients in order listed. Chill for at least two hours. Toss before serving. Crumble remaining bacon on top. Serves 6.
