SAUERBRATEN SLICES 
2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
10 cloves
3 bay leaves
8 ginger snaps, crumbled
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 bouillon cube
6 lg. slices cooked beef (top round or whatever)

In a large skillet, combine all ingredients except beef. Bring to a boil; stir over low heat until smooth. Add beef; heat to serving temperature.
