SARAH'S APPLE CAKE 
3 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix these ingredients - don't beat - with a spoon.

3 c. diced, unpeeled apples
1 c. chopped nuts

Fold in these ingredients. Pour into greased and floured 11 x 14 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

GLAZE:

1/3 box confectioners' sugar
1/3 stick melted butter
Lemon juice for consistency to dribble over cake
