GRAMS GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1 c. molasses
1 c. sour milk
1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. ginger
1 egg
5 c. flour approximately

Mix Crisco, molasses, egg and brown sugar; add soda and ginger. Add one half milk and one half flour, mix well, add remaining milk and flour and mix well. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 300 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
