SKILLET CHICKEN AND RICE 
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 whole chicken, cut up
1/4 c. butter
1 med. onion
3/4 c. uncooked rice

Mix flour, 1 teaspoon salt, paprika and pepper. Flour chicken with the mixture and saute in skillet in butter. Brown on both sides. Drain off most of fat, add 2 cups water, remaining salt, onion and rice. Stir with fork, bring to boil and simmer covered 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and liquid is absorbed. Makes 4 servings.
