SKILLET CHICKEN AND RICE | |
2 lb. chicken pieces, skinned 4 carrots, peeled & sliced 1/2" 1 tbsp. chicken bouillon 3 c. sliced mushrooms 3/4 c. long grain rice, uncooked 1 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/2 c. chopped onion Spray 12 inch skillet with Pam. Brown chicken over medium heat, about 15 minutes. Remove chicken. Drain fat from skillet. Add mushrooms, carrots, rice, onion, bouillon, poultry seasoning, 2 cups water and salt. Place chicken on top of rice mixture; cover, simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken and rice are done. |
