BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
2 sides lean spare ribs
1 tbsp. soy or Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. hot English mustard
1/2 c. catsup
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Place ribs in a shallow baking pan and brush generously with barbecue sauce, made by combining the rest of the ingredients. Bake in a slow oven, 300 degrees, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender. During baking turn ribs over once so they brown on both sides. Continue brushing with sauce. Drain any excess fat from pan. Serves 6.
