CARAMEL GRAHAM CRACKERS 
Graham crackers
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. sugar
Slivered almonds

Line 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan with foil. Break graham crackers into finger size pieces. Line in pan. Melt 2 sticks butter, add 1/2 cup sugar, bring to a boil (time for 2 minutes). Pour over crackers and cover well. Sprinkle with slivered almonds. Put in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Remove, break into finger pieces while still warm. Put on plate to cool. Store in tight container to enjoy. Yield: 48 cookies.
