MEXICAN FUDGE 
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil milk and 2 cups sugar for 15 minutes. Melt remaining cup of sugar in an iron skillet and add to the first mixture. Add the pecans and vanilla flavoring; beat or stir until right consistency to pour onto well buttered plate. Cool and cut.
