CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in bowl. Heat butter, shortening, water, and cocoa in saucepan to boil. Pour over flour mixture and mix well. Beat together eggs, soda, buttermilk, and vanilla. Add to first mixture. Bake in greased and floured sheet pan (cookie sheet pan) for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

SHEET CAKE FROSTING:

Mix 5 minutes before cake is done. 4 tbsp. cocoa 6 tbsp. milk 1 box powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Melt butter, cocoa, and milk in saucepan. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and nuts. Mix well. Pour over cake just as you take it out of the oven.
