CHEESE AND POTATO WILD RICE SOUP 
1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice (2/3 c. raw wild rice)
1/4 c. onion, chopped & sauteed
4 c. half and half
1/2 lb. bacon pieces, browned & drained
3 c. cream of potato soup
2 1/2 c. cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

Combine everything; heat. Add cheese last. Sprinkle slivered almonds on top to serve.
