DIANE'S WILD RICE SOUP WITH
CHEESE
 
10 slices bacon, fry and break into sm. pieces
1/4 c. finely chopped onion, sauteed
2 cans cream of potato soup
5 c. Half and half
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded American cheese
2/3 c. raw wild rice, cook as directed pkg.

Combine all ingredients and simmer until cheese is melted. Serves 6 to 8.
