ANGEL FLAKE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. flake coconut

Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture with coconut and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Roll in small balls. Dip in powdered sugar. Place on cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
