DEDOS DE ANGEL, ANGEL FINGER
COOKIES
 
4 c. flour
2 c. butter
6 egg yolks, lightly beaten with a fork
1 c. sour cream

FILLING:

2 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. powdered sugar
Egg whites
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Mix flour with butter using a pastry blender. Add egg yolks until you have a smooth dough. Make into small balls (1 to 1 1/2 inches). Cover and refrigerate (two hours minimum).

Prepare Filling: Beat egg whites at high speed until stiff. Add nuts, sugar and lemon juice. Take each ball and put between waxed paper and make a flat tortilla with it. Spoon 1 teaspoon filling and roll to enclose. Bake at 350 degrees until pale golden. Remove and roll in powdered sugar. Cool, then roll again in powdered sugar.
