LASAGNA 
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. whole basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) can or 2 cups tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans or 1 1/2 c. tomato paste
1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagna or wide noodles
3 c. fresh ricotta or creamy cottage cheese
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced very thin

Brown meat and add next 5 ingredients, simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Cook noodles and drain. Combine rest of the ingredients except for Mozzarella cheese. Place 1/2 of the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Spread half of cream cheese filling then 1/2 Mozzarella cheese and then meat sauce. Repeat in layers. Bake at 375 degrees 30 minutes. Wait 10 minutes before cutting.
