1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. egg, well beaten
2 tsp. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream the butter. Add the sugar into the butter and blend well. Add egg, milk and vanilla; blend well. Sift together all the dry ingredients. Add them to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well. Arrange by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake 8 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Makes 25-30 cookies.
