NO BAKE COOKIES 
1 stick butter
1 (10 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
1 c. chopped nut meats
1 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
3/4 c. powdered sugar

Mix and cook on low heat the first 5 ingredients for about 8 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and Rice Krispies. Roll into balls with powdered sugar.
