HOT CHIPPED BEEF DIP 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Salt
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 tbsp. milk
1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef, minced
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. minced green pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Melt butter in small skillet and saute pecans. Add salt to taste. Remove from heat and reserve. Blend cream cheese and milk in bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn into a lightly buttered small casserole dish. Cover with the pecans and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot with crackers, corn chips or toast strips.
