CHICKEN OR PORK CHOP BAKE 
3/4 c. rice (raw)
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 can water
1 pkg. onion soup mix

Mix all ingredients and let stand at least 1/2 hour. Transfer mixture to pan big enough to hold the amount of meat you are using. Put chicken or pork chops on top of mixture - brush with melted butter - salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. If rice gets dry before done, add a little water.
