MARINATED SLAW 
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 med. to lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. celery seeds
3/4 c. oil
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar

Bring oil, vinegar, mustard, and salt to a boil; set aside. In a large bowl, mix cabbage, onion, and pepper. Sprinkle sugar and celery seeds over cabbage mixture; do not stir. Pour hot mixture over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate for 24 hours, covered. Makes a large bowl.
