MARINATED SLAW 
1 lg. cabbage head, coarsely chopped
2 onions, coarsely chopped
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. salad oil

Pour sugar over cabbage and onion; set aside. Bring rest of ingredients to a boil and pour over cabbage and onions. Let stand at lest 4 hours or overnight. Keep stirred to mix.
