1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
6 oz. butter
1 beaten egg
20 blanched almonds
2 tbsp. white sugar

Knead flour, brown sugar and butter together into a ball and spread out on cookie sheet. Use only enough beaten egg painted on dough to cover. Sprinkle with white sugar and nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cut while warm.
