CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. chicken, cut up, remove skin
3 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
3 to 5 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. oregano
1 bay leaf
1 c. white wine
1 can stewed tomatoes
30 oz. Marinara sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Season chicken with oregano and garlic powder. Saute' in oil in large frying pan. Brown and remove. Saute green peppers and onion until tender. Add other ingredients, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Put chicken in pan and continue to simmer 45 minutes. 4 to 6 servings.
