BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3 measuring tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. Bourbon
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 c. nuts, finely chopped
Granulated sugar

Over hot (not boiling) water, melt semi-sweet chocolate morsels; remove from heat. Blend in corn syrup and Bourbon. In a large bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs, confectioners sugar and nuts. Add chocolate mixture, mix well. Let stand about 30 minutes. Form into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Let season in a covered container for several days. Makes 4 1/2 dozen 1 inch candies.
