BASIL CREAM SALAD 
2 qts. fresh garden lettuce
4 tbsp. chopped fresh basil leaves or 2 tsp. dried basil leaves
7 tbsp. whipping cream
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Fresh, tiny tomatoes

(Or mixture of butter lettuce, Boston lettuce, leaf lettuce).

Wash and dry the greens. Turn whole leaves into wide salad bowl. Finely mince the fresh basil leaves. Sprinkle over the greens. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Just before serving, drizzle the salad with the fresh cream. Drizzle next with the fresh lemon juice. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Toss and serve immediately.
