CORN BREAD 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sweet milk
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening

Mix all ingredients together. Bake in old fashioned iron skillet for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

HINT: To prevent bread from sticking, coat the skillet with shortening and place in the oven while the oven is warming. Then pour in batter and bake.
