MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. self rising meal
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 med. onion
1/2 can cream style corn
3/4 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. Wesson
1 egg
1 pod Jalapeno pepper, chopped
3/4 c. sweet milk

Chop the onion and pepper. Mix all ingredients together, beating well. Pour into greased pan or muffin tins and bake at 400 degrees about 45 minutes or until done.
