DATE BALLS 
1. 1 pkg. chopped dates
2. 1 c. sugar
3. 1/2 lb. butter
4. 1 beaten egg
5. 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
6. 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
7. Coconut OR powdered sugar

Mix first 4 ingredients and cook 10 minutes over low heat. Stir constantly. Remove and COOL. Add Rice Krispies and walnuts. Form balls and roll in coconut OR powdered sugar.
