DATE NUT BALLS 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, cut up
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. coconut
2 c. Rice Krispies

Cook first 3 ingredients together until butter melts and mixture boils. Cook 4 or 5 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add next 3 ingredients. Cool slightly. Add Rice Krispies. Form into balls and roll in powdered sugar. Store in airtight container.
