MOSTACCIOLI | |
1 lb. ground meat (beef) 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 c. (1 lb. can) tomatoes 16 oz. can tomato paste 1/2 c. water 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. sugar 8 oz. Mostaccioli noodles, cooked Parmesan cheese 1/2 lb. Velveeta, thinly sliced Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat. Add onion. Cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings. In a 2 quart casserole layer half the noodles, meat sauce and Velveeta. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
