JUST THE BEST COOKIES 
2/3 c. salad oil (Crisco oil)
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. each soda, salt and vanilla
1 c. oats
1 c. crushed flaked cereal
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Cream sugars and shortening and oil, mix with other ingredients. Take 1 teaspoon and form a ball, flatten a little with a fork, on a cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes approximately 60 cookies.
