SOUR CREAM MUFFINS 
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. melted shortening
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix sour cream, sugar and shortening. Add well beaten egg. Sift in dry ingredients. Fill small muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. May be partially cooked and then frozen.
