SOUR CREAM MUFFINS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
2 eggs
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter, add eggs and cream again. Sift dry ingredients. Add 1/2 of the flour and cream alternately to the sugar mixture. Beat. Then add remaining flour and sour cream. Put in greased muffin tins. Before baking sprinkle tops of muffins with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
