2/3 c. (sm. can) Carnation evaporated milk
1 2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. (16 medium) diced marshmallows
1 1/2 c. Baker's chocolate or caramel chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix milk, sugar, and salt in saucepan over low heat; heat to boiling and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add nuts, marshmallows, chocolate chips, and vanilla. Stir 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows melt. Pour into buttered 9 inch square pan. Cool and cut into squares.
