Thank you very much for your recipe! My husband doesn't like spaghetti from the store so I took the time to look for something more homemade. Again, thank you!

I am not the greatest cook, but when I made this spaghetti sauce for dinner my picky husband said it was the best spaghetti he's had in a very long time! I doubled the garlic, added a little marjoram, and served it with homemade garlic bread. This recipe makes a lot of sauce, so prepare yourself for having leftovers, unless your serving a family.

I like my sauce to be a tad saucier rather than thick, so I tried using a small can of tomato juice in addition. The recipe as it stands is wonderful, but as Angie said doubling the garlic is the only thing I recommend.

Great recipe! I changed it a little due to what I had on hand... Used 1 can tomatoe sauce and 1 can diced tomatoes, chopped fresh basil, 1/2 chopped white onion and 1 tablespoon chooped garlic. Worked out great!

Add a pinch of dry mint and a tablespoon of pesto and you've got perfection!
