SAUSAGE & CHEESE BRUNCH BAKE | |
8 slices bread 3/4 lb. cheddar cheese 2 lb. link or bulk sausage 4 eggs, beaten 2 1/4 c. milk 3/4 tsp. dry mustard 1 can mushroom soup 1/2 can milk Trim crusts from bread slices and cube. Fry sausage. Drain grease. Butter 9 x 13 inch baking dish and place bread cubes in bottom of baking dish. Add grated cheese. If links are used, cut in 1/4 and place sausage over cheese. Add beaten eggs, milk and dry mustard. Pour over above mixture. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Remove about 1 hour before baking and cover with mushroom soup and milk. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 325 degrees. |
