10 tbsp. melted shortening
3 c. flour
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vinegar
2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth.

Bake for 35 minutes at 350°F.

Great cake when the milk and eggs are gone and you need something sweet!
