SCALLOPS WITH WHITE SAUCE AND
CHEESE
 
1-2 lb. scallops
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. grated cheese, any variety

Broil or fry scallops until browned. In a saucepan mix milk, butter, and flour; heat until mixture thickens, stirring with a wire whisk. Put scallops in the bottom of a casserole dish, and pour sauce over scallops. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts, about 15 minutes. Serve with potatoes and vegetable or serve over toast points.
