FIRE AND ICE TOMATOES 
6 lg. tomatoes, peeled and quartered
1 lg. green pepper, sliced in rings
1 red onion, sliced in rings
3/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 c. water
1 lg. cucumber

Place tomatoes, green pepper, and onion alternately in salad bowl. Blend vinegar, seasonings, and water together. Boil 1 minute and while still hot, pour over vegetables. Cool and chill.

Just before serving, peel and slice cucumber and add to relish. This will keep several days in refrigerator, without the cucumbers. Serves 8.
