CHINESE TEA EGGS 
Hard boil 1 dozen eggs, cool, crack (DO NOT PEEL).

3 or 4 tbsp. strong tea (use 3 tea bags)
2 c. soy sauce (dark)
1 1/2 tsp. Chinese five spice
1 to 1 1/4 tsp. anise

Bring to boil. Add cracked eggs and boil 8 to 10 minutes. Let stand in sauce overnight. Serve as any hard boiled egg.
