HUNGARIAN CHICKEN PAPRIKA 
1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up pieces
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. McCormick Season-All
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
1/4 tsp. coarse grind black pepper
1/4 c. shortening
2 tbsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 c. hot water
2 med. onions
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk

Wash chicken; pat dry. Combine flour, Season-All, thyme and pepper. Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture and fry in hot fat until lightly brown on all sides.

Combine paprika and garlic salt; sprinkle over chicken. Add hot water and simmer 30 minutes. Slice onions and separate into rings. Place on top of chicken and simmer 30 minutes longer. Remove chicken to serving platter and pile onions on top. Blend together flour and milk. Add to liquid in pan. Cook until thickened; pour over chicken.

Option: Make up 6 servings of Minute Maid Rice. Put into platter. Place chicken on top. Continue as recipe says. Makes 4 servings.
