RUSSIAN TEACAKES 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sifted XXX sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla. Combine flour and salt. Mix in. Stir in nuts. Chill 3 hours, roll in 1-inch balls. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes until set, not brown. While still warm, roll in XXX sugar. Cool. Roll again.
