PECAN CUSTARD PIE | |
1 c. white Karo syrup 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 stick butter 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped pecans Cook syrup, sugar and butter until thick. Beat eggs together until light but not frothy; pour hot syrup over eggs, stirring constantly. Add flavoring and pour into uncooked pie crust. Sprinkle nuts on top. Place in cold oven; set to 325 degrees and bake 45 minutes. |
