HICKORY BRISKET SLICES 
4 pound brisket or london broil - roast in slow oven (250-300 degrees) for about 4 hours until tender. Chill thoroughly and slice thin.

Combine:

1 1/4 c. catsup
3/4 c. brown sugar (light)
3/4 c. chili sauce
3/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. bottled steak sauce
1/4 c. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
Dash hot sauce
Pepper to taste

Put slices of meat in shallow pan. Pour sauce over and between slices. Heat in slow oven for about 1 hour. Serves 10.
