FREEZER SLAW 
1 lg. head or 2 regular heads cabbage
1 stalk celery
2 green peppers (1 red, 1 green)
2 carrots, chopped fine

Chop all this together and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon salt and mix well. Scatter a tray of ice cubes over the vegetables and let stand an hour or until ice is melted. Drain off water.
