HAWAIIAN WEDDING CAKE | |
1 box yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix 2 sm. cans mandarin oranges 2 sm. cans crushed pineapple, drained 1 carton Cool Whip 1 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. milk 1/2 c. coconut 1/2 c. sliced almonds Mix cake as instructed on box. Beat in 1 can mandarin oranges. Bake on greased cookie sheet or in 3 greased cake pans for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. FROSTING: Mix pudding, milk and cream cheese. Beat for 2 minutes. Add Cool Whip; beat 1 minute. Blend in 1 can pineapple. Spread on cake. (If you are layering, spread in between layers or make another box of vanilla pudding and use it for the layering. Custard is good also!) Sprinkle with pineapple, oranges, coconut and sliced almonds. Should be refrigerated before and to store it. |
