POWDERED SUGAR COOKIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
9 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. flavoring (vanilla, almond, etc.)
1 small egg
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup nuts

Cream butter. Add sugar and flavoring. Add beaten egg and mix until creamy. Add flour, 1 cup at a time. Stir in nuts. Roll into small balls and place on greased baking sheet.

Bake at 325 to 350°F until brown. Remove from oven and roll in powdered sugar.
